Dreams
"God gives us dreams a size too big so that we can grow in them." ~Author Unknown
The greatest job on Earth has to be that of the Fairy Godmother. At Downtown Disney in Florida, there are ladies whose sole job is to sprinkle magic fairy dust on guests and to wish them well. I had heard of these incredible women but hadn't seen them until last night.
A group of us from a conference went out to dinner last night , and after a day full of classes inside, we were eating outside. Out of the corner of my eye I saw the Fairy Godmother's walking around, probably coming off of a break. The encounter started like this:
Me , "Excuse me are you the Bippity Boppity Boo ladies?"
Them, "Why of course we are!"
Me, "Can I have a wish?"
Them, "Of course you can, but you'll have to come out of the eating area"
I jumped to my feet to meet them on the sidewalk. One Fairy Godmother raised her magic wand and I closed my eyes. "Bippity Boppity Boo, May all your Dreams come true" As the magic dust fell on my shoulders and head, I was transformed to an eight year old little girl, giddy with joy. I thanked my Fairy Godmother. When I turned around, I found my table of friends had moved to the sidewalk as well and were lined up for their wishes. We spent the rest of the night glittering in our magic dust.
This morning, when I looked in the mirror, the dust was still there. I never made a wish last night, because I already have the life I've dreamed of.
One where I can laugh often, love deeply, and live in color.
I've got the magic dust to prove it........
